Meditate on the cool water of the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. Perfume yourself with the fragrant scent of the Lord Waheguru Ji, the sandalwood tree. Joining the Society of the Saints, I have obtained the supreme status. I am just a castor-oil tree, made fragrant by their association. || 1 || Meditate on the Lord of the Universe, the Master of the world, the Lord of creation. Those humble beings who seek the Lord’s Sanctuary are saved, like Prahlaad; they are emancipated and merge with the Lord. || 1 || Pause || Of all plants, the sandalwood tree is the most sublime. Everything near the sandalwood tree becomes fragrant like sandalwood. The stubborn, false faithless cynics are dried up; their egotistical pride separates them far from the Lord. || 2 || Only the Creator Lord Himself knows the state and condition of everyone; the Lord Himself makes all the arrangements. One who meets the True Guru is transformed into gold. Whatever is pre-ordained, is not erased by erasing. || 3 || The treasure of jewels is found in the ocean of the Guru’s Teachings. The treasure of devotional worship is opened to me. Focused on the Guru’s Feet, faith wells up within me; chanting the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I hunger for more. || 4 || I am totally detached, continually, continuously meditating on the Lord; chanting the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I express my love for Him. Time and time again, each and every moment and instant, I express it. I cannot find the Lord’s limits; He is the farthest of the far. || 5 || The Shaastras, the Vedas and the Puraanas advise righteous actions, and the performance of the six religious rituals. The hypocritical, self-willed manmukhs are ruined by doubt; in the waves of greed, their boat is heavily loaded, and it sinks. || 6 || So chant the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and through the Naam, find emancipation. The Simritees and Shaastras recommend the Naam. Eradicating egotism, one becomes pure. The Gurmukh is inspired, and obtains the supreme status. || 7 || This world, with its colors and forms, is all Yours, O Lord; as You attach us, so do we do our deeds. O Nanak, we are the instruments upon which He plays; as He wills, so is the path we take. || 8 || 2 || 5 ||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੀਤਲ ਜਲੁ ਧਿਆਵਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਚੰਦਨ ਵਾਸੁ ਸੁਗੰਧ ਗੰਧਈਆ ॥
हरि हरि नामु सीतल जलु धिआवहु हरि चंदन वासु सुगंध गंधईआ ॥
Har har nām sīṯal jal ḏẖi▫āvahu har cẖanḏan vās suganḏẖ ganḏẖ▫ī▫ā.

मिलि सतसंगति परम पदु पाइआ मै हिरड पलास संगि हरि बुहीआ ॥१॥
Mil saṯsangaṯ param paḏ pā▫i▫ā mai hirad palās sang har buhī▫ā. ||1||
Joining the Society of the Saints, I have obtained the supreme status. I am just a castor-oil tree, made fragrant by their association. ||1||
ਜਪਿ ਜਗੰਨਾਥ ਜਗਦੀਸ ਗੁਸਈਆ ॥
जपि जगंनाथ जगदीस गुसईआ ॥
Jap jagannāth jagḏīs gus▫ī▫ā.
Meditate on the Lord of the Universe, the Master of the world, the Lord of creation.
ਸਰਣਿ ਪਰੇ ਸੇਈ ਜਨ ਉਬਰੇ ਜਿਉ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ਉਧਾਰਿ ਸਮਈਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
सरणि परे सेई जन उबरे जिउ प्रहिलाद उधारि समईआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Saraṇ pare se▫ī jan ubre ji▫o par▫hilāḏ uḏẖār sama▫ī▫ā. ||1|| rahā▫o.
Those humble beings who seek the Lord's Sanctuary are saved, like Prahlaad; they are emancipated and merge with the Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਭਾਰ ਅਠਾਰਹ ਮਹਿ ਚੰਦਨੁ ਊਤਮ ਚੰਦਨ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਸਭ ਚੰਦਨੁ ਹੁਈਆ ॥
भार अठारह महि चंदनु ऊतम चंदन निकटि सभ चंदनु हुईआ ॥
Bẖār aṯẖārah mėh cẖanḏan ūṯam cẖanḏan nikat sabẖ cẖanḏan hu▫ī▫ā.
Of all plants, the sandalwood tree is the most sublime. Everything near the sandalwood tree becomes fragrant like sandalwood.
ਸਾਕਤ ਕੂੜੇ ਊਭ ਸੁਕ ਹੂਏ ਮਨਿ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ਵਿਛੁੜਿ ਦੂਰਿ ਗਈਆ ॥੨॥
साकत कूड़े ऊभ सुक हूए मनि अभिमानु विछुड़ि दूरि गईआ ॥२॥
Sākaṯ kūṛe ūbẖ suk hū▫e man abẖimān vicẖẖuṛ ḏūr ga▫ī▫ā. ||2||
The stubborn, false faithless cynics are dried up; their egotistical pride separates them far from the Lord. ||2||
ਹਰਿ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਕਰਤਾ ਆਪੇ ਜਾਣੈ ਸਭ ਬਿਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਬਨਈਆ ॥
हरि गति मिति करता आपे जाणै सभ बिधि हरि हरि आपि बनईआ ॥
Har gaṯ miṯ karṯā āpe jāṇai sabẖ biḏẖ har har āp bana▫ī▫ā.
Only the Creator Lord Himself knows the state and condition of everyone; the Lord Himself makes all the arrangements.
ਜਿਸੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਭੇਟੇ ਸੁ ਕੰਚਨੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਜੋ ਧੁਰਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੁ ਮਿਟੈ ਨ ਮਿਟਈਆ ॥੩॥
जिसु सतिगुरु भेटे सु कंचनु होवै जो धुरि लिखिआ सु मिटै न मिटईआ ॥३॥
Jis saṯgur bẖete so kancẖan hovai jo ḏẖur likẖi▫ā so mitai na mita▫ī▫ā. ||3||
One who meets the True Guru is transformed into gold. Whatever is pre-ordained, is not erased by erasing. ||3||
ਰਤਨ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਪਾਵੈ ਸਾਗਰ ਭਗਤਿ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਖੁਲ੍ਹ੍ਹਈਆ ॥
रतन पदारथ गुरमति पावै सागर भगति भंडार खुल्हईआ ॥
Raṯan paḏārath gurmaṯ pāvai sāgar bẖagaṯ bẖandār kẖulĥ▫ī▫ā.
The treasure of jewels is found in the ocean of the Guru's Teachings. The treasure of devotional worship is opened to me.
ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣੀ ਇਕ ਸਰਧਾ ਉਪਜੀ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਕਹਤੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਨ ਭਈਆ ॥੪॥
गुर चरणी इक सरधा उपजी मै हरि गुण कहते त्रिपति न भईआ ॥४॥
Gur cẖarṇī ik sarḏẖā upjī mai har guṇ kahṯe ṯaripaṯ na bẖa▫ī▫ā. ||4||
Focused on the Guru's Feet, faith wells up within me; chanting the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I hunger for more. ||4||
ਪਰਮ ਬੈਰਾਗੁ ਨਿਤ ਨਿਤ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਏ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਕਹਤੇ ਭਾਵਨੀ ਕਹੀਆ ॥
परम बैरागु नित नित हरि धिआए मै हरि गुण कहते भावनी कहीआ ॥
Param bairāg niṯ niṯ har ḏẖi▫ā▫e mai har guṇ kahṯe bẖāvnī kahī▫ā.
I am totally detached, continually, continuously meditating on the Lord; chanting the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I express my love for Him.
ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਖਿਨੁ ਖਿਨੁ ਪਲੁ ਕਹੀਐ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਰੁ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ਪਰੈ ਪਰਈਆ ॥੫॥
बार बार खिनु खिनु पलु कहीऐ हरि पारु न पावै परै परईआ ॥५॥
Bār bār kẖin kẖin pal kahī▫ai har pār na pāvai parai para▫ī▫ā. ||5||
Time and time again, each and every moment and instant, I express it. I cannot find the Lord's limits; He is the farthest of the far. ||5||
ਸਾਸਤ ਬੇਦ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਪੁਕਾਰਹਿ ਧਰਮੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਖਟੁ ਕਰਮ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਈਆ ॥
सासत बेद पुराण पुकारहि धरमु करहु खटु करम द्रिड़ईआ ॥
Sāsaṯ beḏ purāṇ pukārėh ḏẖaram karahu kẖat karam ḏariṛa▫ī▫ā.
The Shaastras, the Vedas and the Puraanas advise righteous actions, and the performance of the six religious rituals.
ਮਨਮੁਖ ਪਾਖੰਡਿ ਭਰਮਿ ਵਿਗੂਤੇ ਲੋਭ ਲਹਰਿ ਨਾਵ ਭਾਰਿ ਬੁਡਈਆ ॥੬॥
मनमुख पाखंडि भरमि विगूते लोभ लहरि नाव भारि बुडईआ ॥६॥
Manmukẖ pakẖand bẖaram vigūṯe lobẖ lahar nāv bẖār buda▫ī▫ā. ||6||
The hypocritical, self-willed manmukhs are ruined by doubt; in the waves of greed, their boat is heavily loaded, and it sinks. ||6||
ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਨਾਮੇ ਗਤਿ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਈਆ ॥
नामु जपहु नामे गति पावहु सिम्रिति सासत्र नामु द्रिड़ईआ ॥
Nām japahu nāme gaṯ pāvhu simriṯ sāsṯar nām ḏariṛ▫ī▫ā.
So chant the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and through the Naam, find emancipation. The Simritees and Shaastras recommend the Naam.
ਹਉਮੈ ਜਾਇ ਤ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਰਚੈ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਈਆ ॥੭॥
हउमै जाइ त निरमलु होवै गुरमुखि परचै परम पदु पईआ ॥७॥
Ha▫umai jā▫e ṯa nirmal hovai gurmukẖ parcẖai param paḏ pa▫ī▫ā. ||7||
Eradicating egotism, one becomes pure. The Gurmukh is inspired, and obtains the supreme status. ||7||
ਇਹੁ ਜਗੁ ਵਰਨੁ ਰੂਪੁ ਸਭੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਲਾਵਹਿ ਸੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਈਆ ॥
इहु जगु वरनु रूपु सभु तेरा जितु लावहि से करम कमईआ ॥
Ih jag varan rūp sabẖ ṯerā jiṯ lāvėh se karam kama▫ī▫ā.
This world, with its colors and forms, is all Yours, O Lord; as You attach us, so do we do our deeds.
ਨਾਨਕ ਜੰਤ ਵਜਾਏ ਵਾਜਹਿ ਜਿਤੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਤੁ ਰਾਹਿ ਚਲਈਆ ॥੮॥੨॥੫॥
नानक जंत वजाए वाजहि जितु भावै तितु राहि चलईआ ॥८॥२॥५॥
Nānak janṯ vajā▫e vājėh jiṯ bẖāvai ṯiṯ rāhi cẖala▫ī▫ā. ||8||2||5||
O Nanak, we are the instruments upon which He plays; as He wills, so is the path we take. ||8||2||5||

ਬਿਲਾਵਲ ਚੌਥੀ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹੀ। ਤੂੰ ਠੰਢੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰ। ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਚੰਨਣ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ਬੂ ਨਾਲ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਮੁਅੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਤਿ ਸੰਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ, ਮੈਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਮਰਤਬਾ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਅਰਿੰਡ ਦਾ ਬੁਟਾ ਅਤੇ ਢੱਕ ਦਾ ਪੇੜ, ਮਿੱਠੀ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ।
ਸੀਤਲ = ਠੰਢ ਪਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਧਿਆਵਹੁ = ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਕਰੋ। ਵਾਸੁ = ਸੁਗੰਧੀ। ਗੰਧਈਆ = ਸੁਗੰਧਿਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਮਿਲਿ = ਮਿਲ ਕੇ। ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ = ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਦਰਜਾ। ਹਿਰਡ = ਅਰਿੰਡ। ਪਲਾਸ = ਪਲਾਹ, ਛਿਛਰਾ। ਸੰਗਿ = (ਚੰਦਨ ਦੇ) ਨਾਲ। ਬੁਹੀਆ = ਸੁਗੰਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।੧।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਕਰੋ, ਇਹ ਨਾਮ ਠੰਢ ਪਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਜਲ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਨਾਮ ਚੰਦਨ ਦੀ ਸੁਗੰਧੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ (ਸਾਰੀ ਬਨਸਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ) ਸੁਗੰਧਿਤ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਦਰਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਈਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅਰਿੰਡ ਤੇ ਪਲਾਹ (ਆਦਿਕ ਨਿਕੰਮੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਚੰਦਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਸੁਗੰਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਤਿਵੇਂ) ਮੇਰੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਜੀਵ (ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਚੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ)।੧।

ਹੇ ਬੰਦੇ! ਤੂੰ ਆਲਮ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ, ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਅਤੇ ਰਚਨਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਈਂ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰ। ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਪਨਾਹੀ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੱਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਬੰਦਖਲਾਸ ਹੋ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ।
ਜਪਿ = ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ। ਜਗੰਨਾਥ = ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਨਾਥ। ਜਗਦੀਸ = ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰ। ਗੁਸਈਆ = ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਖਸਮ। ਉਬਰੇ = ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਗਏ। ਉਧਾਰਿ = ਪਾਰ-ਉਤਾਰਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਥ, ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰ, ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਖਸਮ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਆ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਬਚ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ (ਆਦਿਕ ਭਗਤਾਂ) ਨੂੰ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਕੇ (ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਲੀਨ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।

ਸਾਰੀ ਬਨਾਸਪਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਨਣ ਦਾ ਬਿਰਛ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਛ ਜੋ ਚੰਨਣ ਦੇ ਬਿਰਛ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ ਚੰਨਣ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਸੁਗੰਧਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਆਕੜ-ਖਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਪੁਜਾਰੀ ਖੁਸ਼ਕ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਦਾ ਗਰੂਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਿਛੋੜ ਕੇ ਦੁਰੇਡੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਭਾਰ ਅਠਾਰਹ = ਸਾਰੀ ਬਨਸਪਤੀ। {ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਤੁਰਿਆ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹਰੇਕ ਬੂਟੇ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਇਕ ਪੱਤਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਤੋਲਿਆਂ ੧੮ ਭਾਰ ਤੋਲ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਕ ਭਾਰ ਪੰਜ ਮਣ ਕੱਚੇ ਦਾ}। ਨਿਕਟਿ = ਨੇੜੇ। ਸਾਕਤ = ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਨੁੱਖ। ਊਭ ਸੁਕ = (ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ) ਖਲੋਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੀ ਸੁੱਕ ਚੁਕੇ ਰੁੱਖ। ਮਨਿ = ਮਨ ਵਿਚ। ਵਿਛੁੜਿ = ਵਿਛੁੜ ਕੇ।੨।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਾਰੀ ਬਨਸਪਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਚੰਦਨ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ (ਰੁੱਖ) ਹੈ, ਚੰਦਨ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ (ਉੱਗਾ ਹੋਇਆ) ਹਰੇਕ ਬੂਟਾ ਚੰਦਨ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਾਇਆ-ਵੇੜ੍ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਖ਼ੁਰਾਕ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਣ ਤੇ ਭੀ) ਖਲੋਤੇ ਹੀ ਸੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ) ਵਿਛੁੱੜ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਕਿਤੇ ਦੂਰ ਪਏ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।੨।
ਹਰਿ ਗਤਿ ਮਿਤਿ ਕਰਤਾ ਆਪੇ ਜਾਣੈ ਸਭ ਬਿਧਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਆਪਿ ਬਨਈਆ ॥ ਜਿਸੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਭੇਟੇ ਸੁ ਕੰਚਨੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਜੋ ਧੁਰਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੁ ਮਿਟੈ ਨ ਮਿਟਈਆ ॥੩॥
Only the Creator Lord Himself knows the state and condition of everyone; the Lord Himself makes all the arrangements. One who meets the True Guru is transformed into gold. Whatever is pre-ordained, is not erased by erasing. ||3||
ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਹਰ ਜਣੇ ਦੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ-ਮਰਯਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸੋਨਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੁਛ ਮੁੱਢ ਤੋਂ ਨੀਅਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮੇਸਿਆ ਮੇਸਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਗਤਿ = ਉੱਚੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਹਾਲਤ। ਮਿਤਿ = ਗਿਣਤੀ, ਮਰਯਾਦਾ, ਹੱਦ-ਬੰਨਾ। ਆਪੇ = ਆਪ ਹੀ। ਸਭ ਬਿਧਿ = ਸਾਰੀ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ। ਭੇਟੇ = ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੰਚਨੁ = ਸੋਨਾ। ਧੁਰਿ = ਧੁਰ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਤੋਂ।੩।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਕੇਡਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈ-ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਜਗਤ ਦੀ) ਸਾਰੀ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ) ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸੋਨਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਸੁੱਚੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਲ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ)। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਧੁਰ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਤੋਂ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉਤੇ ਜੋ ਲੇਖ) ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਲੇਖ (ਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਉੱਦਮ ਨਾਲ) ਮਿਟਾਇਆਂ ਮਿਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਣ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਲੋਹੇ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਚਨ ਬਣਦਾ) ਹੈ।੩।
ਰਤਨ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਪਾਵੈ ਸਾਗਰ ਭਗਤਿ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਖੁਲ੍ਹ੍ਹਈਆ ॥ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣੀ ਇਕ ਸਰਧਾ ਉਪਜੀ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਕਹਤੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਨ ਭਈਆ ॥੪॥
The treasure of jewels is found in the ocean of the Guru's Teachings. The treasure of devotional worship is opened to me. Focused on the Guru's Feet, faith wells up within me; chanting the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I hunger for more. ||4||
ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਮੈਂ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਜਵੇਹਰ ਵਰਗੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦਾ ਖਜਾਨਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਜਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ, ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਈਮਾਨ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਭੁੱਖ ਮਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦੀ।
ਗੁਰਮਤਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਤਿ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ। ਪਾਵੈ = (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਲੱਭ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਗਰ = ਸਮੁੰਦਰ। ਇਕ ਸਰਧਾ = ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ। ਕਹਤੇ = ਕਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ। ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ = ਰਜੇਵਾਂ।੪।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਭਗਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ (ਭਰੇ ਪਏ) ਹਨ, ਭਗਤੀ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਖੁਲ੍ਹੇ ਪਏ ਹਨ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਤਿ ਉਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਉੱਚੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਗੁਣ-) ਰਤਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਵੇਖੋ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਲੱਗ ਕੇ (ਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ (ਹੁਣ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਿਆਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਰੱਜਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।੪।
ਪਰਮ ਬੈਰਾਗੁ ਨਿਤ ਨਿਤ ਹਰਿ ਧਿਆਏ ਮੈ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਕਹਤੇ ਭਾਵਨੀ ਕਹੀਆ ॥ ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਖਿਨੁ ਖਿਨੁ ਪਲੁ ਕਹੀਐ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਰੁ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ਪਰੈ ਪਰਈਆ ॥੫॥
I am totally detached, continually, continuously meditating on the Lord; chanting the Glorious Praises of the Lord, I express my love for Him. Time and time again, each and every moment and instant, I express it. I cannot find the Lord's limits; He is the farthest of the far. ||5||
ਸਦਾ, ਸਦਾ ਸਾਈਂ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ, ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਹਾਨ ਨਿਰਲੇਪਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕੀਰਤੀ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਨਿਮਖ ਤੇ ਛਿਨ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਆਖ, ਇਨਸਾਨ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਓੜਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਉਹ ਪਰੇਡਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਰੇਡੇ ਹੈ।
ਪਰਮ ਬੈਰਾਗੁ = ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਵੈਰਾਗ, ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੀ ਲਗਨ। ਭਾਵਨੀ = ਪਿਆਰ। ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ = ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ। ਕਹੀਐ = ਸਿਮਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਾਰੁ = ਪਾਰਲਾ ਬੰਨਾ। ਪਰੈ ਪਰਈਆ = ਪਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ।੫।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੀ ਲਗਨ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਿਆਂ ਗਾਂਦਿਆਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ (ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹਾਲ) ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸੋ, ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ, ਹਰੇਕ ਖਿਨ, ਹਰੇਕ ਪਲ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ (ਪਰ, ਇਹ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖੋ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਪਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ, ਕੋਈ ਜੀਵ ਉਸ (ਦੀ ਹਸਤੀ) ਦਾ ਪਾਰਲਾ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਲੱਭ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ।੫।
ਸਾਸਤ ਬੇਦ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਪੁਕਾਰਹਿ ਧਰਮੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਖਟੁ ਕਰਮ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਈਆ ॥ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਪਾਖੰਡਿ ਭਰਮਿ ਵਿਗੂਤੇ ਲੋਭ ਲਹਰਿ ਨਾਵ ਭਾਰਿ ਬੁਡਈਆ ॥੬॥
The Shaastras, the Vedas and the Puraanas advise righteous actions, and the performance of the six religious rituals. The hypocritical, self-willed manmukhs are ruined by doubt; in the waves of greed, their boat is heavily loaded, and it sinks. ||6||
ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ, ਵੇਦ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਚੰਗੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਕੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਛੇ ਕਰਮਕਾਂਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਮਾਉਣਾ ਕੂਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕੂਲ ਦੰਭੀ, ਸੰਦੇਹ ਅੰਦਰ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇੜੀ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਰੇ ਬੋਝ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਲਚ ਦੀਆਂ ਛੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੁੱਬ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਕਾਰਹਿ = ਪੁਕਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਇਸੇ ਗੱਲ ਉੱਤੇ) ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਧਰਮੁ = (ਖਟ = ਕਰਮੀ) ਧਰਮ। ਖਟ ਕਰਮ = ਛੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਕਰਮ (ਵਿੱਦਿਆ ਪੜ੍ਹਨੀ ਤੇ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਣੀ, ਜੱਗ ਕਰਨੇ ਤੇ ਕਰਾਣੇ, ਦਾਨ ਦੇਣਾ ਤੇ ਲੈਣਾ)। ਦ੍ਰਿੜਈਆ = ਪਕਿਆਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮਨਮੁਖ = ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ। ਪਾਖੰਡਿ = ਪਖੰਡ ਵਿਚ। ਭਰਮਿ = ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ। ਵਿਗੂਤੇ = ਖ਼ੁਆਰ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਨਾਵ = (ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ) ਬੇੜੀ। ਭਾਰਿ = ਭਾਰ ਨਾਲ।੬।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਵੇਦ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਰਾਣ (ਆਦਿਕ ਧਰਮ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਇਸੇ ਗੱਲ ਉੱਤੇ) ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ (ਕਿ ਖਟ-ਕਰਮੀ) ਧਰਮ ਕਮਾਇਆ ਕਰੋ, ਉਹ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਛੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਪਕਿਆਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਇਸੇ) ਪਾਖੰਡ ਵਿਚ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ (ਪੈ ਕੇ) ਖ਼ੁਆਰ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੀ) ਬੇੜੀ (ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਪਾਖੰਡ ਦੇ) ਭਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਭ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਵਿਚ ਡੁੱਬ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।੬।
ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਹੁ ਨਾਮੇ ਗਤਿ ਪਾਵਹੁ ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਮੁ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਈਆ ॥ ਹਉਮੈ ਜਾਇ ਤ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪਰਚੈ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਈਆ ॥੭॥
So chant the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and through the Naam, find emancipation. The Simritees and Shaastras recommend the Naam. Eradicating egotism, one becomes pure. The Gurmukh is inspired, and obtains the supreme status. ||7||
ਤੂੰ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ। ਸਿਮਰਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਤਾਕੀਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜੇਕਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੰਗਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਪਾ ਲਵੇ, ਤਦ ਉਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਮਰਤਬੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਨਾਮੇ = ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੀ। ਗਤਿ = ਉੱਚੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ। ਦ੍ਰਿੜਈਆ = ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪੱਕਾ ਕਰੋ। ਜਾਇ = ਦੂਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਤ = ਤਦੋਂ। ਨਿਰਮਲੁ = ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲਾ। ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ। ਪਰਚੈ = (ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ) ਪਰਚਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ = ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਦਰਜਾ।੭।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰੋ, ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੋਗੇ। (ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ) ਨਾਮ ਪੱਕਾ ਟਿਕਾਈ ਰੱਖੋ, (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਇਹ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਹੀ) ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ ਹੈ। (ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਹਉਮੈ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ) ਪਤੀਜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਆਤਮਕ ਦਰਜਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।੭।
ਇਹੁ ਜਗੁ ਵਰਨੁ ਰੂਪੁ ਸਭੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਲਾਵਹਿ ਸੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਈਆ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਜੰਤ ਵਜਾਏ ਵਾਜਹਿ ਜਿਤੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਤੁ ਰਾਹਿ ਚਲਈਆ ॥੮॥੨॥੫॥
This world, with its colors and forms, is all Yours, O Lord; as You attach us, so do we do our deeds. O Nanak, we are the instruments upon which He plays; as He wills, so is the path we take. ||8||2||5||
ਹੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੂਪਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਇਹ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਓਹ ਕੰਮ ਉਹ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਨਾਨਕ, ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਜ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਜਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਵਜਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਮਾਰਗ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਟੁਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਵਰਨੁ = ਰੰਗ। ਜਿਤੁ = ਜਿਸ (ਕੰਮ) ਵਿਚ। ਲਾਵਹਿ = ਤੂੰ ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਸੇ = ਉਹ {ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ}। ਜੰਤ = ਜੀਵ {ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ}। ਵਾਜਹਿ = ਵੱਜਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਿਤੁ = ਜਿਸ (ਰਾਹ) ਵਿਚ। ਭਾਵੈ = ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤਿਤੁ ਰਾਹਿ = ਉਸੇ ਰਾਹ ਤੇ।੮।
ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਰੰਗ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੂੰ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਹੀ ਕਰਮ ਜੀਵ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜੀਵ (ਤੇਰੇ ਵਾਜੇ ਹਨ) ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਵਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਵੱਜਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਿਸ ਰਾਹ ਤੇ ਤੋਰਨਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਰਾਹ ਤੇ ਜੀਵ ਤੁਰਦੇ ਹਨ।੮।੨।
